Can someone who has been convicted of a low class felony that is 3 states away work in the insurance field??

  1. If you need a professional license, it might  be difficult.

    If you do not need a professional license, I think you can work in this field.

    It also depends on what state you are located in.  Some states are a lot more forgiving than other states.

  2. Most state insurance departments required their adjuster's be licensed. Usually you can not get a license with a felony record.

    Your best bet is to call the insurance department for the state you want to work in and ask them.

    Insurance is regulated at the state level.
