My sister has owned her own store previously and sold it when her husband became too ill. Please look up libby lu's website under franchising and explain to me what it means. thank you

  1. It depends on various factors:

    - whether the company actually has plans to operate a franchise in that state

    - has gotten all the permits and licenses from the state government to operate a franchise in that particular state (the process of getting government approval for a company wanting to start franchising their operations in that state is long and tedious)

    - whether the company has already awarded a franchisee the exclusive rights to operate in that state, though they haven't started operations yet

    - the applicant can be actually approved to become a franchisee

  2. The Franchise Company will be the one to make that decision.  It depends on what type of relationship they had with the company when they left the system before.  Most Franchises would probably approve a good operator that was in their system before.  If you have any other questions email me.
