Can someone who is good at Basketball give me some tips?

I'm joining a basketball team and I'm not very good but all the other players are excellent I'm going to practice hard between now and September so any tips on how to get better? Please Help Me!!!

You can be better by practicing and trying to get .Work on your ball handling,rebounds,defense,and shooting.

Practice Practice Practice !!!!  .... and if your gonna play on a team you'll need a lot of stamina ..... do some suicides which are really fast sprints up and down the court.

just keep practicing.and listen to you coach, after practice go to the park and play a pick up game with the guys at the park and you'll get better, ohh yeah if you want to have hops play with ankle weights.

definitely  practice as much as you can...ball handling is a priority and so is shooting and rebounding and everything, but also work on your defense it helps to be a good defensive player when your not so offensively stable

Handling the ball with left and right hand

Foot-work...know how many steps you can take.

Practice with layups...then back put further from goal

Never start shooting 3 pointers first , Your close to the basket game should be mastered.

Play with your head up...when you can dribble without looking at the ball you're progressing!
