Can someone with an email address besides yahoo join a Yahoo Group?

I just created a group for my pals and some of them are on msn and gmail. Would they be able join my group with those email addresses?

Yes, but they won't be able to use/reach files/photos/links etc sections of your group. They have to have an Yahoo ID for that.

You have to use your yahoo ID to join, but you can use an alternate e-mail for group messages.
