  1. Of course!!! It's just using the right side of your brain. This is the best book, i really really recommend this book, you'll see.

  2. I believe you can teach your self, by getting books from the library. Or go to a craft store and look up books on how to draw... I taught myself how to paint and do wood yard art. If you really want to learn you can do it.

  3. most good artists weren't just born with a pencil in their hand and a gift for art. ALL GOOD ARTISTS WERE BEGINNER TOO!

It's the amatuer artists that TRY that actually grow to be good artists. If you're wondering where to start, just think of some of the styles that interest you: realism, photography, digital art, anime, etc. Practice and learn from those with experience and you'll get it in no time ^^

  4. Of course. Just draw whenever you can, whenever you have time.

  5. Hah.  I don't think your age really quite matters.  You don't have to be a certain age to be an artist.

And I think the person above me with the link just proved that you don't need talent to learn how to draw.  You just need a creative mind (as I can see you do), yourself, and some supplies.  If you think you are going to get really into drawing, I recommend getting a sketch book, or even a simple lined notebook could work.

Also, many people think they can't draw, but it doesn't keep them from drawing anyways. :D

  8. Yes.  You probably won't be able to make it as a professional but you can definitely learn to draw.  Go to your library and take out Betty Edwards's Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain and/or Kimon Nikolaides's The Natural Way to Draw.  If they don't have either of them go to your reference librarian and ask about inter-library loan.  Look them over, try the exercises, and surf the web.  There are literally hundreds of web sites which give useful tips.  You really need a teacher and if you have an art class in your school, try to get it into your schedule, but try those two books and talk to your teacher and surf the web.  You will find a LOT of useful resources.

Art is a craft.  What you need to do is practice.
