Can someone with no legal training represent someone else in a civil court in the uk?

  1. Yes but they must not represent themselves as a lawyer, that is an offence.


  2. Yes they are legally called, a next friend.

  3. Unless I'm very mistaken, anyone can represent you, since you have the right to represent yourself. Whether it is a good idea is another thing entirely.

  4. Yep, although if you're considering someone with no legal training why not represent yourself?
