We apologize for the inconvenience, but windows did not start successfully. a recent hardware or software change might have caused this.

If your compuyter stopped responding, restarted unexpectedly, or was automatically shut down to protect your files and folders, choose last know good configurationto revert to the most recent setting that worked.

If a previous startup attempt was interrupted due to a power failure or because the power or reset button was puresed. or if you aren't sure what caused the problem, choose start windows normally.

Safe mode

Safe mod with networking

safe mode with command prompt

Last know good configuration (your most recent settings that worked) start windows normal)

uses the up and down keys to move the highlighted to your choice. Seconds until windows starts (then it counts down)

I've selected safe mode, and also last know good configuartion....

but all that happens is the counts down and the windows screens appears then this screen reappears...

i have put a windows XP on the CD drive to reinstall windows, and it wont boot at all - it does the same thing. how can i make it boot from the CD?

I hope someone can help....

Thanks for your time
