"Following configuration options were automatically updated" Disk: 20496 MB FUJITSU MPF 3204AT

hello, My problem is that every time I reboot, start my computer or come out of hibernate I get stalled with this message:

"Following configuration options were automatically updated"? Disk: 20496 MB FUJITSU MPF 3204AT if you are running unix you need to configure your system using the computer tetup utility (F10)

and it just wont go any further than that - it wont boot. it takes me to the windows XP logo and it wont go any further....it keeps on doing that every time...how ever, i tried it in safe mode, and it did boot up but it's very slow!...

what can be wrong with it? is it the power suppy?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated. I am at a total loss here.

Thanks so much in advance!

i am running home XP and using a COMPAQ SC - 148F

  1. That also happened to me, actually I asked a question about what's a good new computer; cause, you need a new one!

You got a hardware failure, so now the computer doesn't work, however for me safe mode doesn't work, it used to but as you said it was slow. According to my dad, who is a Dell man, we need a knew Hard drive, which will sadly make you loose all memory.

Sorry, I'm going through this to...please answer my Question....

  2. Sounds to me like your your hardrive is not configuring properly. 20gigs is it?  I would throw it away and get a modern hard drive.
