Can southwest airlines' security detect drugs?

i am going to las vegas nevada for the summer and i want to know if i can take weed with me i am leaving from alburqurque on sunday june first so if you know the answer to this question please write to me a.s.a.p. [e-mail]

Dont do it..

I have no problem with weed at all. But I have never brought it aboard a plane. Odds are they wont find it, but its not worth the risk  About 10% of passengers are pulled aside for extra screening. They will pat you down, go thorugh your bags, and maybe even your wallet. So unless its taped to your gentials or other areas, they could easily find it.

Granted airport security main objective is not drugs, if they find it you will be arrested and could be charged with a federal drug offense. Thats alot worse then being caught with it in your car.

So just do the right thing and wait till you get home... or buy it on your trip if you must.

Dummy forget taking any thing with you they have DOGs inside the terminal where you pick up your bags.....

Never take anything illegal onto an airline . Security is too tough these days ... I'm sure you can buy weed where ever you land.

Um......You shouldn't have weed in the first place. It is illegal and you could get in trouble for it...but when you go through security, they will most likely arrest you with possession and intent to distribute. So, I would flush the weed down the toilet, since it is illegal.

the airline themselves won't detect the drugs.

if you get caught, it'll be by government employees... much tougher punishment.

bottom line---don't do it.
