you know the wire that in the instructions it says to tape on a wall in a 'T' shape? can i use speaker wire to replace that? i'm asking because i need to extend the range of my antenna in the back of the car to the inside of my car and closer to my fm transmitter. i noticed that the reception is MUCH better when the antenna is in the front of the car. however the antenna on my car is in the back and i tend to get interference. so what i want to die is tie the speaker wire to the antenna, run it thru the trunk and into the car to try and extend the range a little bit. do you think it will work or am i wasting my time?

  1. That's exactly what's coming out of the back of my office stereo right now.  It makes the difference between tunes all day vs. silence punctuated by static.

If it's what you've got on hand, go for it.
