Can spiders be living in your mattress?

I just got a new mattress and had it for about a month. 2 nights ago I was changing my sheets when a huge spider ran across the bed. I killed it. Then the next night I was laying in my bed and a even bigger spider ran on the wall next to bed. Could they be living in my mattress?

  1. I don't think so, but I would certainly check to make sure the mattress is new and not used.  Used mattresses are frequently sold and buyers are not even aware they renovated mattresses.

  2. If the mattress has no holes in it what so ever..I think there is not any way for them to get inside your mattress. I think the spiders are finding a way into your bedroom and they are just annoying you and making you think they are living inside of the mattress.

So even though you say it's new..I would check to see if there are any holes in it.

  3. It's possible but doubtful that they will remain there very long with the mattress in use.The problem should go away so try not to think about it cause that could make for sleepless nights.A new mattress may not be needed.
