  1. some has alot while others don't have any at all.

  2. No. If they only have two eyes then theyre not spiders.

  3. Yes. While most spiders have four, six or eight eyes, some members of the caponiidae family have only two eyes.

  4. i dont think so. they r genetially made with 4 or more eyes

  5. No.  All spiders have 8 eyes.  In some spiders, like Jumping Spiders, the two main eyes on the front of the head (cephlathorax)  are quite large and look like they only have two, but the other 6 eyes are extremely small and oriented on the sides or upper surface.  If you examine a large spider very closely with a magnifying glass you will "see" just how the eyes are placed on the spider.

Spiders have eight eyes because they are predators, and need to see  where their prey is and when it moves.  They cannot turn their head or their eyes like we can, so they need several eyes to see as much as possible.  Jumping Spiders are unique among spiders because, unlike the others, they can actually shift the retinas around inside the front two eyes to track their prey and judge distance just before they make that leap that catches their insect food.

All spiders are wonderful creatures and they do our world a great deal of good.  99.9% of spiders are harmless to humans, and they help rid our homes of pests like Flys, Gnats, Mosquitoes, Crickets, Aphids, Cockroaches, Termites, and many others.  If it were not for spiders WE would not be here, because we would be "overrun" by insects.  Thank goodness for spiders!!
