  1. yes it can they are to totally different sports.I suggest you choose one or the other.

  2. no, i dont think squash would ruin your tennis game. If anything i think it would make your reflexes quicker and help your hand-eye co-ordination. Which i think would both benefit anyones game.

  3. squash is good for eye sight. i like squash.

  4. Yes and no. Yes as the shot style, movement and racquet handling are far different - infact, the entire playing style - except for heavy slice - is dramatically different. And no as it is the heavy undercutting forehand slice shot (learned in squash) that has served me best over my years of playing when in need of a dire defensive shot, however I rarely use it.

My problem is the reverse: I tend to play tennis strokes on a squash court. It doesn't work. Habitually I cannot break the process of trying to hit a topspin shot, or hit flat and straight to the front wall.

A game that I find is just as bad for tennis is table tennis. Again, an entirely different feel with different shot types and strategy...however overall one is bound to get more confused between using tennis and squash shots in particular if playing both sports regularly.

  5. d**n f***ing straight it will f*** your tennis game!

The techniques required to become a high level squash player require a lot of wrist movement. You'll naturally employ this "flicking" motion for most of your shots. Tennis, on the other hand, uses very little or no wrist movement. Trying to employ skills gained from playing tennis into your squash game will be effective for strategy and fitness. Trying to employ your squash skills on the tennis court will see you lose abysmally.
