Can staff infections cause me to have swollen lmphnoids in my neck legs and armpits?

the surgery was from an umbilcal hernia and i went home the same day as the surgery. next day i went back in because i went into shock and had extreme pain. they treated it by reopening and getting the infection out. i as treated for 9 days in the hospital. i now experiance swollen lyphnoids in my neck and armpits and its been lasting for a 3 month period. is this because of the staff infection and what steps should i take having had a staff infection.

  1. there are many things that can cause swollen lymph glands. but yes swollen glands are a symptom. read this.

    Symptoms of staph infection:

    Pain and swelling around an open wound (cut or scrape) of the skin.

    Furuncles (boils) and carbuncles, white-headed pimples around hair follicles.

    Blistering and peeling skin, in infants and young children.

    Swollen lymph nodes in the neck, armpits or groin.

    If you suspect you have a staph infection get treatment by talking to a physician and getting a blood culture. the docter will diagnose it. if he diagnoses it as nothing but sorenesss and you still have doubts then get a second opinion. Your gut feeling is always more reliable than what someone else says. Only you know exactly how your body feels.
