  1. My Guinea Pig Freaks out during thunder storms she weaks and weaks but when i try to comfurt her she bites me so I would say yes but im not a expert just a 13 year old guinea pig owner who has been bitten during a storm lol

  2. Of course! Especially if she is able to hear the thunder.

  3. most rodents are afarid of lound noises, so I would suggest you puttiing them in a quiet place. The thunder would make them nervous so it's not a good idea putting them with open area.

  4. I Have 5 guinea pigs and its been stormy over here for a while now but none of them seem to mind but other guinea pigs are different and they definately can get nervous...

    :P

  5. Thunderstorms can make any type of animal nervous, it depends on the individual animal. Some of my guinea pigs seem affected, but the other don't seem to care.

  6. Guinea pigs tend to burrow or crawl under things for shelter in the wild. While this is a good escape from preadators, it's not very safe in the rain! A thunderstorm means rain, and rain means the possibility of the burrow or hiding place being flooded!

Small burrowing animals like Guineas are natrually afraid of bad weather (much like small human children xP ). Just hold him/her and offer as much comfort as you can if they seem really scared.
