Can stress cause birth defects???

Question

I get so mad sometimes when my boyfriend and I argue that I jump up and down and scream. You have no idea what I go thru with him. Can acting this way cause birth defects?

yeah if it's that severe (your anger) why not learn ways to deal with it from a talk therapist? it's not healthy for YOU either..and what makes you unhealthy, will effect the  baby and the birth.

at this stage i don't think so because the baby is small, as the baby gets larger you might want to not jump and scream. i know it seems like he just wants to push your buttons
