  1. it makes you more susceptible to catching the cold for sure. stress can do many things to you eventhough stress is psychological; it becomes more physical affecting your health and many bodily functions. best person to ask also is your doctor

  2. No definitely not, a cold is caused by a germ and nothing else. Take paracetemol and keep warm, it will go in its own time.

  3. Yes...Stress lowers your immune system, as does lack of sleep.

  4. Yes, stress is actually very damaging to your body. It can lower your immune system and can definitely give you a cold. It can cause high blood pressure, strokes, and heart attacks. I'd go to the source of your stress and try to deal with that, before you get any worse.

And make sure you drink plenty of fluids and get a lot of rest for the cold.

  5. a common misconception about catching a cold is that you get them from being out in the cold. the truth is that just lowers your immune system so you are more likely to get a cold as well as throwing in the additional factor of being indoors more often with other people who may be carrying something.

stress also lowers your immune system, so that could be one reason that you have a cold.
