Can students of massage in the state of Louisiana recieve tips or donaions with out charging legally?

I am a student and some people I give massages to outside of school wish to give me tips or donations. But can I recieve these with out jepordizing my licensesure?

as far as money goes

I wouldn't ask,  but I wouldn't refuse either.  Most people are offended when they offer money and some one refusses

If you were to ask your instructor they would probably say otherwise because the field it self is verry high on what they do that and they don't want a mere student making money when they had to work so  hard
