  1. There is no evidence that subliminal advertising is effective

  2. as john lennon once said "i beleive in everything until they prove it dosnt exist so i still beleve in unicorns and faries"

  3. I've actually heard of badmasking before. And from what I've heard, usually you process music using the dominant side of your brain. (if you want to know what side this is, then cover one of your eyes, the eye you've covered is the side of you brain that is dominant) anyway. For me this is the right side. Subliminal messages are processed (for me) by the left side, and so they go undetected by common senses, for music, being your ears.

I'm not sure if it is true, but its something thats coming up. If you want to find out if this is true for yourself, there is software that you can use to play your music backwards and forwards, if you have a mac, you could try using GarageBand.

  4. When you have "actual" character rather than "percieved" character, then you shouldn't be easily influenced by outside variables whether its music or propaganda or anything else....

If you have no character, then you could probably be influenced by just about anything.....

  5. Yep.....and Kebler does hire elfs to make cookies

  6. A long time ago I asked a question similar to this. I learned that if you believe in this stuff and you want to fins something you will. Your imagination will wander and pick up things that you think are there. I don't really believe in that stuff. What kind of musician has that kind of time to do that.

No I don't think it changes anyone, mostly because I really don't believe in it.
