  1. No, would that not in fact be a good thing?  I think so!


  2. surplus leads to accumulation of foreign reserves that can be used during deficit yrs.  

    can finance more projects to develop country.  

    japan had yrs of surpluses - they built a road network joining nearly all the islands, some leading to nowhere!

    singapore - they gave back token hundreds  to the pple sweden-gave taxbreaks

  3. No absolutely not if youre talking about money. Any surplus now wouldnt change the economy by much anyways. We have a deficit fighting the Iraq war. Iraq has a surplus. Ask yourself who is doing better right now. Would a little surplus be a problem for America? You must be crazzy to think so. We are in debt everywhere you look so a surplus would definitely help right now.
