Can tamagotchis be allergic to anything?

I've heard that my friend was playing her Tamagotchi and fed it something than it got sick and died!

So can Tamagotchis allergic to anything?

If so can you tell me what certain Tamagotchis are allergic to?

tamagotchis have taste buds like us and dont like certain foods. like the ones you buy at the shop on it. some of my tamagotchis didnt like fries and corn. ive never heard of tamagotchis being allergic to foods but maybe your friends tama died because it was starved and it ate something it didnt like and so it just died i dunno maybe. usually the case is that your tamagotchi can only dislike the foods you buy but its all a mystery till you buy it something then feed it and then its happy meter will be empty meaning it doesnt like it or if one of the hearts is full it liked it
