Can tamagotchis of different ages still get married?

Me and my friend are like totally obsessed with those toys. We've each got a v 4.5, hers is a boy, Bobby, and mine is a girl, Sammy. We want them to get married but Sammy is a year older than Bobby. Will they still get married

Unfortunately, no. Both of the tamagotchis have to be the same age to get married. I suggest you pause Sammy for a while so Bobby can catch up with the same age. Otherwise, they can't get married.
