Can teachers be deaf and unable to speak?

lol, at recent post.. "They cannot work for hearing kids, they work with kids with their own disabilites" umm, def wrong. I know a couples of deaf teachers that teach hearing kids.. like ASL classes, they don't need a hearing teacher to be by their side to speak... if hearing students want to learn, then.. learn the hard way.
