  1. I looked at all your response it appears that they are mostly of entirely from students. My reply it depends on the infraction  and the gravity of it. Teachers must have a moral and educational compass. There must be a rule of professionalism when that is crossed they should be removed from the classroom.

  2. Yes, but it is usually after they have abused students sexually, stolen, and the like.  Incompetence is not going to get a teacher suspended.

  3. In Texas, teachers are put on a three-year contract at a district.  You need to read the fine print, of course.  Since state-mandated tests are a big thing here, if you  are caught "helping" a   student during a test, you will probably get your teaching license taken away, or at the very least, you're suspended.   Of course, there's the usual stuff like "inappropriate contact with a student" and many written reprimands,  and after you're suspended, you may go to jail if the student is underage.

  4. yea...if a teacher does something that is not legal then he can be fired or suspended....any thing from throwing something at a student to or saying some thing sexual....if a teacher is constantly putting down a student calling them stupid and other mean words then they could be fired...however if u just dont like a teacher or u do not feel that they r teaching good then  the teacher can not be fired.

  5. Absolutely! It all depends on the type of situation they get into but yeah, it can happen.
