Can teens be pizza delivery drivers?

I am 16, turning 17 in a month, I want to be a pizza driver while i am in school. I have a new car (08) does not use alot of gas at all (35 mpg)

Would Dominos, Pizza hut hire me?

yea, but would your parents let you rag out a new car? the stop and go traffic and all the miles, you will be needing oil changes and brakes like crazy and once a car gets alot of miles....its worthless...no good for trade in...and dollar value is next to nothing..regardless of how it looks. plus..if that is your job..it can make your insurance premiums go up.

brother in laws insurance went way up when he started delivering for dominos.

the Dominoes site says you have to be 18 but I don't know about Pizza Hut.

Do you have a pulse?  Some delivery kid bought a Vespa to cut down on cost.  Why Pizza Delivery?  Lot of hassle and with the economy slow tips are not that good.  Might want to consider bussing tables at nice restaurant.  Things go well the wait staff shares their tips.

um i don't know what state you live in but in Cali you have to be 21 to have a "driving job" i read some where you could work at a pizza place
