Can the 360 stream movies bigger than 4GB?

Question

Well, I actually have an AVI which is 4.7 gb, and it can run on the 360. But I would like to know if anyone has tried running a movie bigger than 5GB, whether if it works?

Its confusing since on many websites, it states that playing a movie bigger than 4GB will not work, yet mine does. So could someone here give me an official verdict?

if it is under 5gb it generally will work, but at 5 or above it will not take/
