Can the Blue Jays get a wild card spot?

I think we have a chance and its going to be close. What are your thoughts? I know Boston is the favorite but we could make a push!

Boston will make it. I'm a huge Jays fan but Gibbons screwed us up and Cito has been great for the team but he came in too late. Team has talent and I could seem them contending next year with that pitching staff.

umm no, if the red soxs cant make the wild card....how will the blue jays make it...minnesota twins are already tied with the soxs for the wild card, and the boo jays are 11 games behind

Blue Jays would have to get on a MAJOR ROLL and Sox/Twins would have to go into a MAJOR SLUMP.

Don't Stop Believeing. We aren't to far back for the talent and pitching we have. Plus wish most of our games left against AL East teams i think were still in it. Were almost past the yankees. But i think that the only thing that could hold us back is if we pass the Red Sox and took 2 in the Al east i think the twins or white sox might take the wild card spot from us.

seriously? No! If the people are saying that the yankees cannot make the playoffs, there is no way that the blue jays can. The yanks just won tonight and they might on friday as well. The blue jays just dont have enough of a lineup to make a run, and the only reliable pitcher is Halladay.

No, it will go to the Soxs or the Twins the east will only have the division winner in the playoffs...weak division.
