  1. unless the packers put in something that states he can't than he can

  2. I'm sure they can do that if they so choose do, but this is all a moot question and point anyway.  First off, Brett will not be traded by GB.  When he competes against Rodgers for the starting job, and if he wins, he will be the starter in GB.  Even if he loses the starting job, he will still be in GB.  You see, what should happen if Rodgers doesn't perform well in the season?  Well the Packers need to cover themselves by having a capable QB in the wings.  Trading him to a division foe such as Minnesota is not likely because they don't want to risk the Vikings being a contender in the North, and losing the title to them.  The Bucs are not likely either because remember Jeff Garcia already has that job, and he looked great last year.  So my thoughts are that he's better off in GB and he will likely stay there.

  3. Unless there's something in the contract or a gentlaman's agreement betwwen the teams, once Tampa Bay got him they could trade him if they wanted to.

  4. They could but why would they?

The Bucs are in to win and trading Favre to the Viks would be counter productive to the Bucs only because Favre is a much better QB then Garcia and whom ever else is on the Bucs squad.

Why would you trade a HOF QB that you just got? To help out another team in the NFC? I really do not think so.

  5. hey, this is AMERICA!

  6. They should be able to, unless Green Bay manages to throw in some sort of clause in the trade deal that says they are not allowed to. I dont know why Green Bay cares so much. They are in the process of rebuilding this year and if he goes to Minnesota who cares?

  7. If the contract says nothing against it, than yes

  8. i'm sure there will be a clause in the trade agreement preventing this.

  9. No way.  Green Bay will cover their rears to be certain that won't happen.

But I gotta say, is Favre now walking away with his head down because the Pack doesn't want him?  I really think he thought they would be absolutely delighted to have him back!

He has, as of right now, interrupted their pre-season stuff, and that is really bad news for Favre's reputation.  He goofed and his ego got out of hand!

  10. I think Green Bay can put a clause on the trade so that won't happen. Which is very F'ed up if u ask me
