Can the Cubs find their offense in Cincinnati?

Question

Do you think the Cubs are to blame for causing this offensive slump?

Is it because of simply poor execution, lack of aggresiveness, patience and discipline at the place, and a lot of fatigue, or is it because of the opponents strong pitching?

Do the Cubs batters need to be more aggresive on offense?

In my opinion, I think the Cubs match up much better vs. the Reds than they did with the Phillies and Astros, and they should be able to score plenty of runs and win their first series in a week.

Every team is going to go into sort of a slump, its just what happens. The Cubs will find their rhythm again and start putting up more runs. The Cubs pitching has stayed very consitstant so once the offense finds their stroke again, the Cubs will become hard to beat again

dude, Randy Wolf pitched a complete game shut out against the cubs.  Randy Wolf! How depressing is that? NL's best offense lol.

I think that they will win the series against the Reds and the offense will come back. Part of it was really good pitching from Wolf and Oswalt. Part of it was just bad timing, weather and overall crappiness from the Cubs (D-lee has hit how many DPs?). I hope this is all not wishfull thinking and was actually trying to be objective in my response. But I am a lifelong Cubs fan.

I think the Cubs are just in a small little slump.  They didn't lose the Phillies series and they just caught the Astros at the wrong time because they're the hottest team in baseball right now.  They should get into the swing of things againg this weekend against the Reds.

Cubs have a very good lineup. Sometimes they can go into a very terrible slump, but it won't be those long slumps that go for a few weeks.

I'm pretty sure, they'll have their bats turned around and start hitting again.
