Can the Cubs win the World Series this year?

I'd like to think that they have all the pieces in place to at least get there, but I'm not so sure they can close the deal. That would crush Cubs fans.....to make it there and then choke it.

I think Cubs fans would be familiar with choking.  They certainly have the ability to win the World Series, but there are no guarantees.  That's what makes baseball fun.

When you have Rich Harden as your # 4 starter you know your good! If the Cubs keep everyone healthy they will win the world series.

Yeah absolutely they have all the pieces in place to do it.  As any baseball fan knows though getting to the playoffs is one thing, but in the playoffs it's like a whole new season.  I'm going to root for my team all the way to the end, but I'm trying not to get my hopes up just to be disappointed.

the cubs have the power to make it to the world series but they need to use it. the times i watch them they look sluggish. They need to step it up a little if they want to make it to the series.

The Cubs beat the Angels in 5 games.  Adding one offensive player does not turn an offense from horrible to great.

The Cubs have a great Offense and good pitching.  The Angels have Great pitching and a bad offense.
