  1. I would love it they could, but the reality of it is that baseball is a business and the Dodgers haven't had a very good track record of keeping their young studs over years. Somehow or another, they always manage to trade away a promising player. We have a good chance of keeping most of them, the one I worry about is Russell. I am hearing that the Dodgers have inquired with Russell's agent about an extension and they aren't interested. So I guess you never know.

But I would love to see these group of guys bring a WS back to LA.

On a side note, have you heard anything about Tony Abreu...?

  2. the pitchers will leave

and russell martin may end up costing too much

  3. i think they can keep most of them except Russell Martin, he is gonna want a huge deal and the dodger may not wanna do that.......but the rest are average players that can be resign with no problem ....

  4. Depends on their agent. If it is Scott Boros, forget it.

  5. Assuming they aren't traded LA has the best chance of hanging onto Ethier, Kemp and Loney because they are good but not great players who shouldn't command huge salaries.

Martin is a top-notch catcher and could be difficult to retain since he should draw some big offers once he qualifies for free agency.

The same goes for the pitchers; if they have any success at all they will be in demand as FAs so the Dodgers will have to pay them, trade them, or lose them.
