Can the GGC-H20L model from LG write Blu ray?

Question

Go so "us.lge.com" and type in "GGC-H20L" in the search menu and find this drive. If you click on the "specifications" under "product info" and scroll down, it says that it writes Blu ray. This makes me skeptical because this player is only $300 and the box does not advertise its Blu ray writing function.
