Yes I believe that it is possible regardless of his age.  He's had a shady past yet his recent comeback proves to show that he's much more focused and determined to become the undisputed champ.  He knows what it takes to get there and his record speaks for itself.

Sorry doll, it didn't work for Byrd, and it won't work for Hide, nobody escapes Father Time, and old men should be sitting by the side of the fire talking boxing, not climbing into the ring to fight guys old enough to be their children.  It's a big mistake for Herbie to hook up with Floyd Sr., Mayweather Sr. isn't great, he is a vampire feeding off his son's accomplishments, DeLa Hoya's media appeal and Hide's reputation.  Herbie should stay retired.

HERBIE HIDE NEVER GOT THE CREDIT HE DESVERD.

HE HAS SHOCKED ME MEANY OF TIMES. SO IF HE BEAT HAYE AT WHAT EVER WEIGHT IT THEY GOT IT ON AT AND KNOCKED DAVID  OUT IN  THE1ST ROUND I STILL WOULD BE SHOCKED HAYE CANT TAKE A PUNCH AND AS GOOD AS HE IS HE WILL GET FOUND OUT. i seriously doubt it.i would like to see him in with riddick bowe again because that fight was extremely funny......stuart,turn the volume down a wee bit mate.it was funny because hide was a big mothed gobsh1te who ranted and raved that he could beat them all when he hadnt the armoury to back up the boasts.he was at that time one of the boxers that a lot of people were looking forward to getting beat,and seeing him getting treated like a small kid in the ring showed how above his station he had gotten.i do agree with what you say about todays heavyweights as they are at best mediocre.hopefully david hayes will do the business in there.

I would say no...if there IS an undisputed Cruiserweight champion any time soon, I'd say it would be Steve Cunningham, now that David Haye has moved up to heavyweight.
