I can't believe someone died from such a common fender bender. Read the story here...

This wouldn't happen in a heaver american built car.

  1. "The driver of the second vehicle, partially ejected from his car, died at the scene,"  - from the news report.

This appears to be American driving; jumping red lights; excessive speed (to jump center median); no seat belt.

Heavier vehicles would have caused more damage because of the greater kinetic energy involved and, if movies are to be believed, would have caught fire.

  2. So you are saying a heavy American built car puts your seat belt on for you?

Or perhaps people that don't buckle up in a Honda would in a Buick?

What does it have to do with safety of the Honda that someone doesn't follow the laws?

  3. NO HONDAS ARE NOT SAFE IN GENERAL THEY ARE 1400 POUND TIN CANS AND PEOPLE THINK THAT THEY ARE RACE CARS BUY A JEEP

  4. Truth is, you can die in ANY models and makes!

  5. Hardly.  Whatever you ride if you don't wear a seatbelt and check the airbags you'll still be seriously injured or dead.

I have a chevy and a small fender bender almost took off the whole fender!

  6. ur wrong...read the artical...the dead guy half ejected from car...no seatbelt,,,

  7. Well first it was not just a common fender bender, speeding was a factor and the one that got partially ejected probably was not wearing their seat-belts, this was just a freak accident and could have happen with any type of vehicle but yes a larger vehicle might have helped.
