  1. yes honey its true for some reason your hair has broke off on top. it happened to alot of us using the mirens, its like one day you look in the mirror and go into shock from the huge circle of hair missing.

feb 15 08 i finally cut all my hair off to see if i could start over with a even lenth. it has to be the stress and hormones from mirena, we may be in denial trying to stick it out but the mirena does not just work in the uterus it attacks the entire body. hair skin and nails.

i don't know what to tell you about your hair, sometimes it even changes texture.

i remember looking in the mirror it looked like a crop circle on top and i was at work i was so depressed. i had to ask my daughter if she cut my hair while i wa sleep.

  2. I had 2 mirena's as soon as my 1st one expired I got anew one for 1 additional year. I noticed I would shave my legs in the am and then by night time I had stubble. I attributed it to years of shaving. I had the IUD removed 6/19/08 and since then I have noticed that I only shave every 3rd day I didn't put 2 and 2 together until I mentioned it to my co worker. So yes I do believe it may be due to the Mirena that your hair is growing rappidly and causing ingrown hairs
