  1. There are clamp on compensators for 91/30's and M44's. No fitting is required and it won't affect your accuracy. It will help reduce felt recoil pretty effectively. However, your gun will be considerably louder and the muzzle flash will be a lot more visible. I do not know the current price for those. I got one for $24.95 around 7 years ago.

  2. What you are referring to is a MUZZLE BRAKE,  Yes you can. But beware, It will make the rifle even louder than before. A muzzle brake releases pressure to the side instead of out the front.

below is an add for one

  3. compressor?  like an air compressor?  if your talking about muzzle accessories you will have to have a gunsmith do this unless you have experience welding parts on firearms.  I don't know of a compressor for a rifle.  there are flash suppressors, flash hiders, muzzle brakes, silencers, and compensator to name a few.  the mosin doesn't have a threaded barrel though and this is why you would have to have the accessory you want welded on.

  4. I also am not sure if you mean compensator or suppressor

But both can be put on a Mosin without any welding, especially when just threading the barrel would be so easy

But there are also many different methods of pinning accessories onto barrels using the sight base as a stabilizer

  5. Having a compensator fitted to a Mossy is going to cost more than the rifle did.
