Can the Olympics be held in the same place more than twice?

yes and it has... i believe london on 2012 will be its 3rd

Yes it can. London hosted the Olympics in 1908, 1948 and will host it again for the third time in 2012.

Athens have hosted it twice in 1896 and 2004, Paris in 1900 and 1924, St. Moritz in 1928 and 1948, Lake Placid in 1932 and 1980, Los Angeles in 1932 and 1984 and Innsbruck in 1964 and 1976.
