If they were anywhere near as bad as they've looked thus far, they never would have gotten here in the first place. Not a lot of players on the Pens who know what it takes to win. It would be nice to see them look like they belong, so far they obviously haven't done that. Maybe a bit of home-cooking and a good scolding from their parents will straighten the kids out a bit. But can they come back and win 4 out of 5, I doubt it.

It has only happened once in history where a team has comeback when down 0-2 in the SCF. I believe it was the Blackhawks of '75? Someone correct me if I am wrong.

I doubt it...The wings are a very very strong team. And proving more and more each day why they won the Pres. Trophy for the most overall points in  the 2008 season. The Penn's. are a good young team, but Detroit's "Red Army" style hockey is second to none. The worse part of it is The Wings make it look sooooo easy, there patience and the way they capitalize on turnovers & mistakes are what is going to land the cup in Michagan this year.

They should be able to, but only a few teams did.  I'm not saying they can't or won't, I'm just pointing out the stat.

If the pens play hard, stay out of the penalty box, and get the first goal early, it may get them back in the game, but they will have to do that for the next four games.

Right now they look and play defeated and without and goals to show for, i can see why. The penguins had it easy coasting to the playoff finals and now they've met a team that is difficult to skate against. Penguins have the skill of quick skating and great passing through the neutral and offensive zone, but with Detroit's strong defensive power in the neutral zone and forwards coming back deep to help their defense, penguins are outmanned. And lastly, if you put enough shots on goal, you're bound to eventually score, works for Detroit, pens have to test Osgood.
