  1. They won't be able to keep all of it... Hossa, for example, will be getting a huuuuge pay raise after these playoffs.

Unfortunately, they'll be able to keep a lot of it... Crosby, Malkin, and Fleury will be signed for a few years at least.

  2. They're using a lot of foresight to lock some of them up.  They won't keep them all but the cap is always going up so they'll keep quite a few of them.  A Cup win would make it harder but I don't think they'll have to worry about that, at least not this year.

  3. what talent, the only good player on the team is hossa and he aint going to stay in that s**+thole Pittsburgh

  4. Not forever.  They can keep a lot of it, and there are always new guys coming up from the minors and being drafted to fill the empty slots.

  5. They will probably sign Malkin to an extension, similiar to what Crosby got. No way they let him test the FA market, even as a RFA after next season. Fleury may  get a "DiPietro" type  deal.  Hossa depends on how greedy he gets.  It's going to be the role-player guys like Laraque, Ruutu, Dupuis, Malone, and Orpik who were making 1million per (+/-)  they are going to have to convince to stay for a smaller increase to keep the team together.

  6. All their young talent? Perhaps.

    All their talent? No.
