  1. mhm

  2. I guess theoretically, but it would difficult.

"The Electors shall meet in their respective states, and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President, one of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves" - 12th Amendment

So, if both nominees on a party's ticket were from the same state, then that state's electors could not vote for both.  Presumably, they would cast their ballots for the President and either not vote for V.P. or vote for someone they know will not get it.

I don't think a party would be willing to potentially throw the Vice Presidency to a Senate vote, so the parties will probably not have a ticket which would have two people from the same state on it.

So, while possible... I'd have to say it's highly improbable.

  3. Yes why cant they? no laws against it

  4. Not unless Cheney moves from Texas to Wyoming before the Convention.
