  1. IF THEY CAN KEEP THEIR A GAME GOIN. THEY MIGHT.

  2. It's very possible. But I hope it doesn't happen. The Rays have just lost it with those last few games against the Yankees. The way the Rays have been playing, there's no excuse for them to just collapse like they did with the Yankees. Maybe the Rays are getting nervous? I don't know. But I hope the Rays stay on top.

We'll just have to see what happens in those up-coming games between the Rays and the Red Sox, because that's what it really depends on.

  3. No the question is can the yankees catch the red sox!

  4. no but they will sweep away the Wild Card nice an easy.

Unfortunately they will lose in the end to the Angels

    Boohoo for red sox fans

  5. They definitely can and I think they will. They play way better than the Rays right now, despite the absence of several key players (Lowell, Beckett, Lugo, Drew, etc...) who will be back soon. The Rays are coming to Fenway for a 3-game series next week, and then the Red Sox travel to Tampa the week after. A great opportunity for them to catch the Rays!

  6. No, not this year.

  7. I'd love it if they did, but I don't think it'll happen this year.

Although...I've been waiting for the Rays to run out of steam since the All-Star Break.  Maybe these Rays/Yankees games are the beginning of that?  (too early to tell, obviously)...

  8. It's possible, but first they either need to get healthy or stabalize. They need Lowell and Youklis desperatly, as well as David Ortiz to wake up. Same deal with their bull pin and starting rotation. Too many people have been out at all different times keeping them from getting that team dynamic they need. If they get that they should catch them, but it's gonna take alot.

  9. They can, but the question is will they?
