Actually the Rockets beat the Lakers in recent season series. The team we need to finish off is the Jazz. I think the Rockets will see the Lakers in the WCF and its going to be electrifying. Rockets come on top in the end.

if they're healthy they could be one of the best teams in the league.  but as years have proven, they can never stay healthy.

having artest and battier on the defensive end with yao in hte paint area really puts pressure on an offensive team who relies on their perimeter players.

i think they might run artest at pf from tiem to time depending on the matchups, artest can guard some pfs in the league.

Absolutely..First off to all the Lakers fans:  Shut the h**l up about ur Lakers.  They got abused so bad in game 6 that they may never return the same.  And I am so sick of hearing from them "wait till we get Bynum back".  Geez....like this guy is a superstar or something.  Two years ago they were willing to trade him for IKE DIOGU.  I mean c'mon

Back to the question.  They can certainly beat beat the Lakers.  They beat them in the season series last year WITHOUT Yao.  Ron Artest gives them the guy who can give Kobe fits on the offensive end.  They now have 3 legit all stars and argueably the best trio in the league.  Only the Celtics big three can even be considered with them obviously.  

If they remain healthy, the Rockets just propelled themselves as the favorite to win the west.  How can you double Yao or T Mac now with a talent like Artest?? This is a nightmare trade for the rest of the West.  Keep in mind, they got Ron Artest for giving up not a single player who helped contribute to their 55 win season last year.  Scary.

its funny how good ppl think the rockets are after this trade. I have nothign against em but you cant have a starting lineup with 4 forwards... its just not right.
