Can the Rockies resign Garrett Atkins?

You always hear about Matt Holliday being traded. He has a two year contract that will run out in 2009. Atkins has one year left on his contract and you never hear about his future. Why are we not hearing about him? And will he get resigned?

because he is one of the most under-rated players in all of baseball. i think that he will try to go on a more successful team and somewhere where he will be more appreciated and more well known
