  1. It teaches kids to learn independently and that we all see the world differently. That's what the teletubbies do each segment, right? One of them will find a hat, study the hat, wear the hat, dance in the hat. Then the next one will find the hat, study the hat, decide to hide under the hat. Etc.

  2. yes

  3. Teletubbies is not an educational program and should not be even considered for educational purposes.

  4. only if you want your kids to be g*y

  5. Hi,

I think they are educational to a certain degree. They are not bad but I think that for the most part, they just serve as visual stimulation for really young kids. Ages 1 and under.

  6. they really can't....

  7. I have no idea how, its kind of counter-educational it teaches children to jump into holes and kill themselves "time for tubby tubby bye bye"

  8. no it is just fun and games

  9. No, I don't think all educational.  I didn't find anything educational about it.

  10. No, not at all.

  11. No.  If they talked it would be, but they do baby babble.

  12. Teletubbies is an evil program.

  13. no, educational experts say children so young --young enough that they are the target audience for that show--should NOT be watching *any* TV at all.

    so, the show is anti-educational

  14. There are child physchologists that say that they do, babies think differently than we do, they teach them movements, laughter, to be carefree, and to be indepenedent, these are just a few of the things that make them educational.  Personally I cant stand teletubbies, but my 2 yr olds absolutely love them

  15. if you've ever read the book 1984 it's kind of like that.

it teaches babies to asociate athority with inhuman objects like the speakers that tell them what to do.  the baby in the sun could be considered their ruler.  passing judement and watching whatever they do.  honestly read 1984 and you'll be freaked out by similarities.  theirs no human interaction wich is worse for a baby then playing with sharp objects.  the videos that the teletubies have on their stomaches also teach kids to watch tv.  we already have youtube on our phones it only a mater of time befor we have personal tvs.

sesame street for all of it's weird characters, still has life like human interaction in it  (although elmo has been stealing the show resently, which is a bad thing).  which is the thing babie need most real humans not faked "education"

teletubies teachs the new generation of younth to not be human and how to be conrolled.  think about it.   zig hiel!

  16. if your child is learning to talk then it may not help, beacause the characters aint talking, babies can imitate their dances and movements but it wont help them to develop speech

  17. Children may find Teletubbies cute, certain not the adults. The kids like them. So tele is educational in a certain way.

  18. lots of people  say its evil. but i think its not.

but its not educational at all because they really don't teach anything at all

also what i would consider educational for little kids would be

    between the lions!

  19. Maybe in the way that it can teach them colors and shapes (colors of the Teletubbies and the shapes on top of their heads). There's also that segment where the Teletubbies watch real humans on their tummy television. I don't remember if it was educational material though, but I think they always had a topic. I personally found that to be the most boring part of the show though so I don't know if it can keep the attention of a preschooler.

  20. The purple one who carries a handbag illustrates gender diversity and should teach us tolerance.
