  1. No.

The White Sox have a solid team this year, and they have a nice mixture of old and young talent.  Our bullpen has done outstanding so far, and our starting rotation is still very solid.  Jose Contreras and Javier Vasquez haven't had the best of seasons, but Javier has been working on it and Contreras was placed on the DL.  Hopefully he comes back healthy.

This race is between the Sox and Twins.  I'm going to guess the Sox will win the division by a game or two.

  2. Yes.

I've said from the start of the season the Tigers are not a World Series type of team. People say their team looked good on paper. How? Having no starting pitching other than Justin Verlander looked great didn't it? And Todd Jones is a beast closer right? That lineup is good, but it is also very old (Cabrera and Granderson only guys under 30) and thus can get hurt very easily. But the reason they aren't a championship caliber team is because they do not NEARLY have enough pitching. Their rotation is horrible and the bullpen is not great, even with Rodney and Zumaya. They will make a run but I don't see them overcoming both of these teams.
