  1. They can do anything they like once you are arrested, or have a warrant.

  2. New Commie Labour have just given ANYONE remotely connected with the Government, the power to read all your Texts and Emails, and to listen to ALL your phone calls and to use it all against you !!

    So I'd say Yes.

  3. Hi

Yes if they search you they can read any documents on you unless you are covered by Diplomatic Immunity or the documents are protected under the official secrets act and they don't have high enough clearance.

If the documents are in your house they need a warrant to enter and search , but it would have to be relevant to the investigation for them to read your documents.

    Hope this helps  bye

  4. Yes.

  5. No. Paperwork forming what is called 'legal privilege' can not be read. This can be paperwork sent to people from solicitors etc and is for some strange reason tends to be carried by criminals! That said without reading at least part of it how would they know what it contained?!

N.B. Im not saying everyone who deals with solicitors is a criminal!

  6. No, not all documents.

They are not allowed to read or seize legal or medical documents unless it specifically forms part of the investigation..

  7. I Consider that there is probably only one policeman that can read out of the entire English police force. So saying that, the law of averages says you would have to be extremely unlucky to be searched by this one policeman.
