DO you have a DVD burner ??check out the list of hardware in your computer ,>>Right click on "My computer>>click on Properties>>click on Hardware tab>>click on Device Manager >>now look at the list it will tell you if you have dvd player or dvd burner it would say DVE R or SOME dvdRW (r means Read and w MEANS Write)
