Can the acid in a humans stomach digest metal?

    hydrochloric acid (that stomach acid) can dissolve nearly any metal, depending on how concentrated the acid is. however, only a few animals (such as crocodiles) can tolerate any extreme concentration, so it would take weeks, even months, for you to digest the metal, or even break it down into bit size.

  3. the HCl on our stomachs can digest metal but the heat produced as a byproduct of the reaction together with other byrpoducts that may be toxic to man may lead to death so it is definitely not advisable
