yes you can my husband just a few days ago did it with his son, he was told by the bm she had a abortion and was never notified but it all depend on state laws and what state has jurisdiction in your case! also how old the child is....if you have a little more information that would be reat also we have learned not to contact any adoption place and ask questions as all they will tell you is no and look we jst did it and he was told no may times and if he tried it would be so much money and all this other bad stuff, but that is not true if you truely feel that is what is best for you and your child put your mind to it, it will happen  it takes alot of time tho let me tell you
