  1. There are implants which have been developed, which go onto the visual cortex of the brain and are connected to an external video camera. They electrically stimulate the visual cortex, and give the blind a sort of vision (bypassing the defective eyes and optic nerve) - albeit a poor resolution version (I believe that a simple 10x10 grid is all that has been so far developed).

These will *only* work on people who were born with sight, and who went blind later in life, however.

If you were born blind, then your visual cortex does not develop - and you are never able to see, or even image what sight is like.

So people born sighted who become blind *can* imagine colours, but those born blind cannot.

  2. Not if he was blind from birth. He could hear various descriptions and analogies from others but would have no experience with it. Sight is a complex process.

People have difficulty imagining things beyond their senses such as space-time, not being able to go faster than light...etc.

  3. If you have seen before going blind then yes you can imagine colours.

  4. A blind man can imagne colour if he is not blind from the day of birth through his brain which can think of any colour.

  5. if he has seen colors he can. but if he hasn't only thing he does is hears or touch. He dreams of sound and touching not seeing.

    so the imagination.
